The Starrett 831 Small Hole Gage is exactly the same as the 829 Series except that the gaging surface is a half-ball with a flat bottom. This permits use in even the most shallow holes, slots, and recesses. .300-.400" (7.6-10.2mm) Range, 3 3/8" (85mm) Length recesses.
