Wedge Action Grip Set (2), 20kN, Without Jaw Face Set

The Starrett WEDGE-243 Series is a high capacity wedge-action fixture with a 20kN (4500lbf) load capacity. The WEDGE-243 Series is ideal for metals, composite or plastic samples. The jaw opening opens from one side only. The WEDGE-243 Series has a spring-loaded lever arm for load/unloading samples quickly. The maximum opening is 16mm (dependent on jaw set used). The WEDGE-243 Series has a 50mm clamping height and jaw widths are 35mm. The WEDGE-243 Series is supplied as a pair (upper and lower grips) without jaws. Jaw sets must be ordered separately (See JAW-243 Series for available jaws).
